DER TAG - The News at VOX

The news at VOX are presented in a highly competent, up-to-date and informative way. Under the dctp-umbrella SPIEGEL TV does not only supply up-to-news to VOX, but also gives extensive background information in a licensed newscast.

DER TAG (the day) has been broadcast since 1 January 1999 as a main daily newscast weekdays at 17:45 pm and Sundays at 16:30 pm, the late news are delivered right before midnight at 23:55 pm. SPIEGEL TV news staff does more than classic news reporting: in a length of 25, respectively 10, minutes viewers get extensive insight into global events with in-depth coverage of how things are interconnected. Regular documentaries on social, medical and service issues round off the program.
SPIEGEL TV's own Berlin correspondents' office stands for the importance of reporting from the capital and the new federal states of Eastern Germany. Direct line-ups with foreign correspondents all over the world permit instant and extensive analyses of events all over the world.

DER TAG reaches an average viewership of 2.6% market share, in the target group of viewers aged 14 to 49 it reaches 3.0%.
